Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Kokkoroko iOS application (the "App"), published by DIGITALSTALK PRIVATE LIMITED and operated by Approtic ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these Terms.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the App or its sounds, artwork or characters.

2. Kokkoroko Pro

• Free features. The free version includes core alarms, a selection of sounds and wake-up themes, and one mission per alarm.
• Subscriptions. Kokkoroko Pro is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Where offered, a 3-day free trial applies to the first subscription only. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and term unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
• Lifetime. Kokkoroko Pro Lifetime is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro features on the App for as long as it is offered on the App Store.
• Prices are shown in the App in your local currency and may change; changes do not affect a period already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.
• Restore. Use "Restore purchases" to re-activate Pro on a new device signed in to the same Apple Account.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your device charged and the App permitted to schedule alarms (iOS may ask for alarm permission).
• Set a safe volume. Loud sounds played close to the ear can harm hearing.
• Use missions sensibly. The Shake Awake mission involves moving your phone; do not do so in a way that could damage the device or injure anyone.
• Only import videos you have the right to use as wake-up themes.

4. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features of the App at any time, including sounds and themes, and may release updates that require a newer iOS version. We aim to give notice of material changes to Pro features.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. In particular, we do not warrant that alarms will always ring, ring on time, or wake you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a missed or late alarm, including missed work, travel, appointments or exams. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Intellectual property

The App, the Koko character, the Kokkoroko name and logo, and all bundled sounds and artwork are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. Sections 5–7 and 9 survive termination.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
