Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kokkoroko ("Kokkoroko", "we", "us"), an app published by DIGITALSTALK PRIVATE LIMITED and operated by Approtic, handles information when you use the Kokkoroko iOS application.

1. No account, no sign-in

Kokkoroko does not ask you to create an account. There is no login, no password and no profile. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location or date of birth.

2. Information stored on your device

• Alarms. Alarm times, labels, repeat days, chosen sounds, wake-up themes and missions are saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone and registered with Apple's alarm system (AlarmKit) so they can ring on time.
• Wake-up history. Completed wake checks are counted on your device so the app can show your streak. This never leaves your device.
• Imported videos. If you choose one of your own videos as a wake-up theme, a copy is stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. It is not uploaded anywhere.
• Motion. The Shake Awake mission reads the phone's motion sensors only while that mission is running, to count shakes. Motion data is processed on the device and is not stored or transmitted.

3. Purchases

Kokkoroko Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card, billing address or Apple Account password. To unlock Pro features and to restore purchases, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives Apple's purchase receipt and an anonymous, app-generated identifier for your installation. This is used only to confirm what you have bought. It is not linked to your name or contact details, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
• We do not show third-party advertising.
• We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and Kokkoroko never presents an App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you.
• We do not build profiles of you or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not record audio. Sound previews use bundled audio files.

5. Third-party services

• Apple — App Store payments, AlarmKit alarms and iOS platform services. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — purchase verification and subscription status (section 3).

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your content lives on your device, you control retention. Delete an alarm inside the app, or delete the app to remove all local data. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained as required to honour your purchase; you can ask us to delete the anonymous RevenueCat record by emailing us from the device in question.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA and India's DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, most requests can be satisfied by deleting the app. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Kokkoroko is rated 4+ and is a general-audience utility. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Security

All network requests use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Local app data is protected by the security controls of iOS and by your device passcode.

10. International transfers

Purchase verification may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
