Terms of Use
Last updated: August 28, 2026. These terms set clear expectations for using this independent study and interview-practice app.
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Citizenship Test Prep 2026 iOS app. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Approtic operates the app and may update these terms as described below.
An independent study tool
Citizenship Test Prep 2026 is an independent educational and interview-practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official service of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Homeland Security, or any other government agency.
The app does not provide legal advice, determine naturalization eligibility, prepare or file immigration forms, represent you before an agency, or replace advice from a qualified immigration professional.
No guarantee of an outcome
Practice scores, speech feedback, streaks, review schedules, and recommendations are learning aids. They are not official USCIS assessments and do not guarantee that you will pass an interview or test, qualify for naturalization, or receive any immigration benefit.
USCIS procedures, test versions, questions, answers, officeholders, and accepted responses may change. Always follow your official appointment notice and verify current requirements and answers on USCIS.gov before your interview.
License and permitted use
Subject to these terms, Approtic grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store rules, for lawful educational purposes.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, disrupt, exploit, or use the app to violate law or another person's rights, except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
Your information and device access
You are responsible for information you enter, including any ZIP code or USCIS receipt number, and for securing your device. Avoid entering information you do not need for your own preparation.
Voice practice requires optional microphone and speech-recognition permissions. You can revoke them in iOS Settings. Our handling of information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Automated feedback
Build 2 uses local accepted-wording checks to provide practice feedback. It may miss valid paraphrases or otherwise be incomplete or incorrect. Compare feedback against current official USCIS materials. Personal memory cues are user-written notes, not official answers.
The app's current answer feedback is not a government decision and is not a substitute for a USCIS officer's assessment during your interview.
Official materials and intellectual property
Some factual civics content is based on publicly available USCIS and U.S. government study materials. Government agency names, seals, marks, publications, and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement.
The app's original design, software, arrangement, branding, and non-government content are owned by or licensed to Approtic and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
External services and links
The app may link to USCIS, myUSCIS, USA.gov, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, or other third-party services. Approtic does not control and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, or practices. Their own terms and policies apply.
Apple provides the App Store, device operating system, speech recognition, notifications, and related platform services under Apple's own terms.
Availability and updates
We may add, change, correct, suspend, or discontinue features or content. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability, compatibility with every device, or that every item will remain current at all times.
Install updates when available and verify time-sensitive information using official sources.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and its content are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or a particular immigration or examination outcome.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Approtic and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app or reliance on its content.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. Your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, misuse the app, create security or legal risk, or if the service is discontinued. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence give you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app, law, or our operations. The date above identifies the current version. Continuing to use the app after revised terms become effective means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
