Does the meter measure certified sound levels?
No. Uncalibrated readings are dBFS, relative to the digital microphone ceiling. Reference calibration gives an estimated SPL. Phone readings are not certified for hearing safety or compliance.
How do I get water out of my speaker?
Follow the in-app preparation guidance, disconnect external audio and hold the speaker facing down. Start at a comfortable volume, keep tones away from ears and stop if uncomfortable. A completed cycle is not proof of water removal. Do not charge a wet device or insert objects in the grille.
I cannot hear the tone, or it is very quiet.
Turn the volume up with the side buttons and disconnect Bluetooth headphones, AirPods or speakers so the tone plays through the iPhone speaker. Some tones are low or high frequency and may sound quiet even at full volume; that is expected.
Is it safe for my iPhone?
The tones play through the speaker like any other audio. Do not hold the phone to your ear during a cycle and stop if you feel discomfort. Eject Water is not a repair service: if your iPhone was submerged or behaves abnormally, contact Apple.
How many free cycles do I get?
Version 1.1 includes one water-eject cycle per local calendar day. Optional monthly, yearly or Lifetime Premium removes the limit and unlocks the extra tools. The meter, sound camera and guidance remain available without Premium.
I bought Eject Water before it was free. Do I have to pay again?
No. Open Settings in Eject Water and tap Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account you originally used. Lifetime is included for everyone who bought the paid app.
How do I restore Lifetime Unlock on a new phone?
Sign in with the Apple Account that bought Lifetime, open Settings in Eject Water and tap Restore Purchases. iOS re-reads your purchase from the App Store.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all App Store payments and refunds, so we cannot issue one. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com using the Apple Account you bought with.
