Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 10, 2026. This policy explains what Glass Widgets: Liquid Glass processes and why.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers Glass Widgets: Liquid Glass, an Android home-screen widgets app published on Google Play by Nhancio Technologies, Hyderabad, India (package com.approtic.glasswidgets).
Approtic operates this website and handles support for the app. The app is a one-time purchase with no account, no advertising and no in-app purchases.
In plain English
The app contains no advertising SDK and no analytics or crash-reporting collection by default, and we do not sell your information.
Your wallpaper, photos, notes, calendar events, contacts, step counts and now-playing music details are read only to draw the widgets you configure, and they stay on your phone.
Optional wallpaper downloads and, when you configure it, weather forecasts are the only network requests the app makes.
What stays on your device
Wallpaper and glass tiles: your wallpaper is processed locally to render frosted, clear, fluted and obsidian widgets that match your background. The rendered tiles are cached in private app storage and never uploaded.
Photos: photo, polaroid, duo and gallery widgets use images you choose through the Android photo picker. Only local references are stored.
Calendar and contacts: calendar, agenda and contact-ring widgets read the data you grant access to and render it locally. Nothing is transmitted.
Steps: the steps and distance widgets read a daily total from Health Connect or the device step sensor. The total is cached locally, never transmitted, and never used for advertising or profiling.
Music: the music widget reads the current title, artist and artwork through notification access and renders them locally.
Notes, to-dos and widget configuration: stored in private app storage. A JSON backup is created only when you explicitly export it.
Network requests
Wallpaper downloads: when you download an optional wallpaper collection, the request goes to a content endpoint served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your IP address and the artwork path as ordinary HTTP metadata. No account, identifier or personal image is attached. Downloads are kept in a private cache you can clear from Settings.
Weather: if you add a weather widget, the app sends an approximate location (rounded coordinates, or a city name you type) over HTTPS to the configured forecast provider to fetch a forecast. Location access is optional; you can type a city instead, or leave weather off.
Purchases: Google Play handles the purchase of the app and any refund. The app never sees your payment details.
Permissions
Approximate location (weather), calendar (calendar widgets), contacts (contact ring), Health Connect or physical activity (steps), notification access (music widget), nearby devices (earbuds battery) and photo picker access are all optional. Each is requested only when you add a widget that needs it, and revoking it simply blanks that widget.
Retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives in its private storage and caches. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes all of it. Forget my wallpaper and Clear downloads in Settings remove the rendering caches and downloaded artwork without uninstalling.
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message and any screenshots you choose to send, and keep them only as long as needed to help you. Email us to have support correspondence deleted.
Children and changes
Glass Widgets is a general-audience utility rated for everyone. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
If we ever add a service that sends new data off your device, we will update this policy and show a notice in the app before that processing begins. The updated date at the top identifies the current version.
